Our founders

At their first meeting, there was an instant connection. He worked as a GZ-psychologist at the Medical Center Leeuwarden, while she found a place for her graduation project in digital innovation at the same hospital. Two down-to-earth entrepreneurs with a passion for healthcare.

Margryt Fennema and Louis Zantema united in their ambition to make a difference for people with chronic pain, and in 2018, they founded Reducept.

Reducept has received multiple awards for research and design of VR therapy for pain, including recognition from the United Nations, the Royal Family, MT/Sprout, and being named one of the top 25 medical startups in the Netherlands. Additionally, it has been honored as the 'Healthcare Innovation of 2022' by the Chamber of Commerce.
